In your opinion, what is today the role of the architect? Investigation about the role of architects in the actual urban context.
Three architectural evenings as outcome of the call for a cycle of self-managed evenings promoted by the Foundation of the Order of Architects of Milan and selected by the Technical Scientific Committee for the Foundation’s cultural activities. The cycle is curated by the studio Pasta Madre (Giulia Lorini, Eleonora Buono, Francesca Pedroni) and discusses the role of the architect today.

The architect as an action
The Bruit du Frigo (Bordeaux, France) and Guerilla Architects (Berlin, Germany) collectives will illustrate their projects and their respective design researches that, although developed at two different scales, have common features, the right to the city. While on the one hand Guerilla promotes research on an urban scale by taking a political and critical position on the transformation of European metropolises, on the other Bruit du Frigo is a consolidated practice of participatory architecture recognized by the administrations and part of a system in which urban planning and public space is the order of the day at the neighborhood scale.
