Tor an Tor

„Tor an Tor“ is a cinematic-artistic work documenting a future past of Rathausblock. Thereby the garages on site, their tenants and stories became the main actors and were declared as potential monuments which shall be preserved beyond the urban development process at Rathausblock. In collaboration with several tenants and OFFscreen, we created a cinematic collage of siutations showcasing the informel use of these garages to highlight and record their archetypical usage as multifunctional space and social meeting point.

The short film was created in the framework of the project „Phase III“ of the Baupalast initiative at the Rathausblock in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
