1km² Berlin – Akt II: A place to be
Die Tragödie der offenen Stadt
“A place to be.”, the second act of the trilogy deals with the conflicts of the housing market within a fictional setting of a flat viewing, a house hunting game and a guided tour through a recently gentrified neighbourhood of the Kreuzberg district in the south of the river Spree. The audience is accompanied by a choir inspired by festivals of Antiquity and embodies the roles of game moderator and commentator. Fiction and reality merge: who is without guilt? How entangled are we in the commercialisation of our cities?
